| Welcome! This Conference & General Assembly marks the start of a new era
in the history of FEICA. For the first time, we are arranging a full conference in
conjunction with the annual General Assembly. The objective for this is obvious: to offer
the FEICA members more value for money and to attract more managers from areas like
Research and Development, Manufacturing, Logistics etc.
The Conference consists of nearly 30 presentations, carefully selected by the Conference
Committee, to give you insight into a wide range of topics relevant to our industry, e.g.
innovative raw materials, new production and application technologies, environment
legislation issues, the Euro, the Millennium bug, business re-engineering etc.
This extensive programme will start with the Conference Opening Session, presenting Mr.
Dominique Fournier, Worldwide Vice-President of Exxon Chemical on Responsible Care, Mr.
Robert Peacock, Frost & Sullivan, presenting their latest study on the European
adhesives market, and Professor Uwe Keller of the Max-Planck-Institute on adhesives in the
age of aerospace.
In addition to the Conference, a table-top exhibition has been organised, where 18
companies are exhibiting their products and services. You can meet and discuss with some
of the (potential) suppliers and get the latest information on raw materials and
equipment.
We have also kept all the traditional events that made the former FEICA General Assemblies
so successful. For participants wishing to extend their stay throughout the weekend, we
are offering post-conference tours.
In conclusion, the new FEICA Annual Conference and General Assembly is the occasion to get
an update on what is happening in our industry, to interact with your peers and to extend
your network within the industry!
