Colleagues,
Time flies. We have the feeling that the last World
Adhesives Conference was only a few months ago, but it was in fact held in
San Francisco in November 1996. Much has happened since then, and we will
use the World Adhesives Conference 2000 to tell about this. The Conference tracks will offer topics which are both familiar, like the raw material suppliers’ never ending development of new and better products for the adhesives industry, or things we couldn’t dream of four years ago, like e-commerce. Learn more about it in the Suppliers Track. The wave of mergers & acquisitions that has been rolling over the world was surely anticipated, but it is only now that we are starting to see the results of this restructuring. We have devoted one session to hear different views on M&As. And how do you keep the corporate knowledge when you are "downsizing"? Also to be explained in the sessions of the Adhesives Industry Track. What are our customer markets expecting from the adhesives manufacturers? How do you add maximum value for your customers? These will be the main topics of the Markets Track. Last but not least do not forget the FEICA Expo 2000, the largest gathering of adhesives suppliers of the year. | The World Adhesives Conference takes place every
four years, with organisation rotating between the Adhesive Associations of USA, Japan and
Europe. An important and integral part of the Conference is the Expo, your
opportunity to give maximum attention to your products. The FEICA 2000 World Adhesives Conference and Expo is a unique opportunity to reach the global adhesives industry – the only event organised for the industry, by the industry. The audience will be the largest international gathering of the adhesives industry, with delegates from around the world, representing every aspect of the industry.

| General Information on the Conference | |
| Conference Tracks The Conference will be held in three different tracks: Supplier Track, Adhesives Industry Track, and Market Track. They will focus on varying themes important for the entire chain from suppliers to the end users. Each track will be divided in four sessions, each consisting four to five papers. Schedule A provisional schedule is given in the Preliminary Programme. In short, the Conference will start with a Key-note session on the afternoon on Wednesday 20 September 2000.
